About Ann’s Professional Experience
Ann is currently a Senior Director at Google, where she leads the Cloud Security Products & Solutions Execution team. In this role, she is responsible for setting the vision and direction for the team, as well as improving productivity, quality standards, resolving systemic problems, identifying trends and implementing changes. She is also responsible for the risk management system for AI/ML systems.
Prior to Google, Ann was the Vice President of Cybersecurity & Cloud Architecture and the Chief Information Security Officer of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) at the Walt Disney Company. In this role, she provided the leadership, strategy, and direction for protecting the confidentiality and integrity of DPEP systems and related infrastructure. She was responsible for ensuring that DPEP managed, maintained, and adapted a comprehensive cyber security and cloud architecture program that leveraged Disney and industry best practices to protect against and prevent threats.
Ann is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in the cloud, cyber security, and other technology sectors. She has held leadership roles at organizations including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Oracle, and Cisco Systems, Inc., with responsibilities ranging from comprehensive cyber security strategy development and deployment to product ownership and Cloud platform security.
About Ann’s Education and Certifications
Ann holds a master’s degree from the Beijing Institute of Technology. She also holds numerous professional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University, CCIE, and CISSP, and holds a U.S. patent for a GPS Vehicle Control System with User-Guided Calibration.
